"Artists for Humans"
Film

It seems these days people don’t take the time to do the little things that make a difference in people’s lives. My inspiration for making it came from a lot of different places but the one place that really influenced me was from a friend Craig Brandmeier who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at the age of 24 and passed away August 28th, 2010 before I was able to finish the piece. He taught me indirectly (from my observations of him) during his battle with the horrific disease that our moods are changed by little things throughout the day and they are very little things, someone waiting and holding a door open for you can make you feel appreciated where as if someone forgets to call you when they said they would makes you feel forgotten. I feel so strongly about this: if for one day people were just nice to one another it would last more than just that one day because everyone would see how great it is.

Sometimes art doesn’t stand still.  Sometimes it moves, and in that movement it tells a story that you might not want to hear.  In the end your left with a feeling and in the end that feeling is the art.  Ricochet In Reverse is that feeling.   Sent to us by our good friends from the Suicide Kings, Jamie Dewolf and Geoff Trenchard we give you “Ricochet In Reverse.”  It is the combination of sharp tongues and bad memories however you wish to interpret them!
