Ok I know Banksy has been getting some run here lately with the movie premiere and all, but hey good art is good art.
Now luckily for us that good art is sprinkled all over beautiful San Francisco. Banksy has added even more life to an already vibrant city. From majority of the accounts as usual it has been accepted with open arms. Nothing was more evident of this than the defacing of the peace and love doctor slap up in China Town. When locals seen what had been done, they
quickly buffed the sharpie scribble and restored order. Signs were posted on each side of Banksy’s art with a message written in Chinese. If any one could translate we would love to know!
From the Mission to Haight the man made his rounds.
Looks like Banksy has put in a little extra work on his SF stop compared to other cities that have been blessed with his presence due to the premiere of “Exit Through the Gift Shop”.
Does San Francisco hold a special place in Banky’s heart or is it the ease of access to the corners of the city that attract him and some of the worlds finest. Not sure but either way we’re down!
